Tasty and healthy snacks just a mouse click away! Nuts - a healthier alternative “Pistachio nuts, the red ones, cure any problem.”- Paula DanzigerClick here to check out my list of nutty snacks
However, like eveything else, nuts are best snacked on in moderation which usually means between 1 and 2 oz a day. While that might not seem like a lot, it is enough to benefit the body while satisfying that craving for crunchy goodness. The important thing to consider in all of this is that the kind of nuts you snack on, whether they be almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews, pastachios, peanuts or whatever other nut you enjoy, should be as natural as possible. No smoked, salted or barbecue flavored nuts. That only adds on more calories and sodium which as we all should know, is not great for us in the long run. Healthy Snack Resources
