Can Chocolate Be A Healthy Snack??
If you are like me, and many of us actually, the allure of chocolate is too much to handle at times. There’s a craving to chocolate that is comparable to a Vampire’s blood-lust, or so I am told…;) But as we try and snack in a healthier direction, is chocolate something we can partake in regularly, or is it to be avoided at all costs?
In pursuit of this most important question I stumbled upon this article that shares with us the real “skinny” on chocolate. Beware though, the answer you hope to find may not be the one revealed. Apparently, and I mention this on my Chocolate page over at www.healthy-diet-snacks.com, the darker the chocolate, 70% cocoa at the very least, the healthier it is. There’s more evidence to chocolate’s health benefits here as well. Thank God for whoever does these studies.
Now, given that darker chocolate is good for us, we still can’t eat a ton of it and expect to live to 105 years of age. Moderation is the key in this lifestyle change. However, that being said, we can indulge a tad when the feeling hits without being worried about staying on point.
